Site work for a water / sewer project in Marshall, Michigan. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Replace 6" water main on E. Michigan with 8". This is the only section of Michigan Ave that has not been replaced. This replaceent would complete the Michigan Ave loop through the City. The existing water main was installed in 1950, and is past its useful life. This project is currently in included in the City of Marshall's FY 2024-2030 CIP. As of July 23, 2024, information regarding a design firm and the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed. A firm construction timeline has not been released. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
