As of April 18, 2024, bids received were rejected as they were over the budget. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. Estimated Value $375,834.20 DBG CONTRACT NO: B-23-UC-36-0105 The work consists of a single-story, wood frame, 48-foot by 20-foot (960 SF) addition to the existing senior center with an ADA-compliant lavatory, located at 36 Bridge Street, Montgomery, New York Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guarantee in an amount equal to at least five (5) percent of the amount of the Bid payable to the Village of Montgomery as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and file acceptable Performance and Labor, Material Payment Bonds, and Certificate(s) of Insurance within ten (10) days after the award of the Contract. The Village of Montgomery, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Owner The bidder agrees to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written Notice to Proceed and to fully complete the project within 120 days. Bidder also agrees to pay as liquidated damages $750 per day for each consecutive calendar day thereafer that the work remains uncompleted
