Site work for a water / sewer project in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bids for this work will be accepted only under the name of the Bidder to whom the Contract Documents and Addenda, if any, have been issued by the Engineer. Bids received by bidders to whom the Contract Documents were not issued by the Engineer will be returned unopened. State law requires a non-resident bidder to attach/include a copy of his resident state's current law pertaining to such state's treatment of non-resident contractors with their bid. Any bid submitted by a non-resident contractor which does not include the non-resident contractor's current state law shall be rejected and not considered for award. The City of Brookhaven reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in the bidding and to reject any and all bids. The project includes the installation of approximately 1,300 linear feet of 12" PVC water main, approximately 1,500 linear feet of 6" PVC water main, 12" and 6" gate valves, approximately 375 linear feet of directionally bored 20" HDPE Casing, fire hydrants and other fittings. The Contract Time will be One Hundred Eighty (180) consecutive calendar days, and the liquidated damages will be $200 per consecutive calendar day thereafter.
