The contract for professional services, if one is awarded, will be awarded to the Respondent determined by the City to be the best qualified to perform the services with cost proposals considered. Prior to making an award, the City of Brookhaven, at their sole discretion, may request the Respondent make a presentation to the review committee or Board of Aldermen. The City of Brookhaven reserves the right to reject any and all Statements of Qualifications and Cost Proposals for any reason at any time prior to execution of a contract and to waive any and all informalities and irregularities in the selection process. The deadline for asking interpretations, clarifications or questions shall be 5:00 P.M.local time on Tuesday, May 15,2024. All responses to such will be given to the Proposers inwriting no later than 5:00 P.M.local time on Monday, May 17,2024. The City reserves the right to officially modify or cancel this RFP after issuance. Such modifications shall be made only by written addendum furnished by the City's Agent, an acknowledgement of which must be submitted with the Respondent's proposal. A Proposal/Bid Security in theform of a certified or cashier'scheck, bank letter of credit orbid bond by a corporate suretylicensed to do business in Mississippi and acceptable to theCity, in a sum of $50,000.00shall be required to be submitted with the proposal. The City of Brookhaven reserves the right to reject anyand all proposals receivedand to award said proposals inthe best interest of the City ofBrookhaven.
