CCSHS is seeking Proposals for the performance of Janitorial Services at CCSHS educational facility and future Gymnasium The planned term of engagement for the performance of Janitorial Services is five (5) years, with subsequent three (5) year extensions, subject always to the terms and conditions of the definitive Contract(s) between CCSHS and the Contractor(s). The planned commencement date for the performance of Janitorial Services is June 1, 2024. Proponents must acknowledge that CCSHS educational facility is fully operational for one hundred and ninety (190) calendar days per annum, during which the full complement of CCSHS students, teaching staff, support staff and/or administrators are present onsite. For the balance of calendar days per annum, the CCSHS educational facility is minimally operational (i.e. minimal presence of students, teaching staff, support staff and/or administrators) or closed altogether, during which few to no persons are present onsite. Based on CCSHS day-to-day operational reality, the Janitorial Services schedule and substantive work output must change accordingly. For instance, Janitorial Services such as deep cleaning, floor polishing and other work output must occur during calendar days when the CCSHS educational facility is minimally operational or closed altogether, in accordance with the Janitorial Services schedule. Each Proposal duly submitted in accordance with this Request for Proposals ("RFP") will be evaluated in accordance with this RFP. Based on its evaluation of Proposals, CCSHS intends, but is not bound, to select one or more Proponents who, in the sole and unfettered opinion of CCSHS, best meet or meets the collective evaluation criteria stated in this RFP. Proponents must demonstrate a high standard of quality and customer service when performing Janitorial Services for educational facilities of similar nature, size, and complexity.
