This project consists of an asphalt mill and overlay on SW Topeka Boulevard from SW 29th Street to SW 21st Street. Additional work, where necessary, includes full-depth patching, curb and gutter replacement, and sidewalk ramp replacement. Utility work includes water main replacement along SW Topeka Boulevard from SW 29th Street to SW 21st Street, Phase II in conjunction with street project. City projects T-701031.00 and T-281250.07. Q And A Close 3/22/2024 10:30:00 PM DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR UNITS OF WORK: Pavement Removal 6" Aggregate Base - Type AB-3 Asphaltic Concrete Overlay (BM-2) (2") Full Depth Concrete Repair 6,805 S.Y. 7,917 S.Y. 22,771 S.Y. 5,912 S.Y. The site is located in the Topeka, Kansas, W ½ of Section 07, Township 12 South, Range 16 East (See attached USGS Area Map). The attachments illustrate the permanent improvements proposed. During construction of these improvements, soil will be disturbed as a result of excavation and other related activities.
