Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Duarte, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The general nature of the work consists of furnishing all labor, material, equipment, services, and incidentals required for the roadway improvements. The scope of the work includes cold milling of asphalt concrete and resurfacing using rubberized asphalt, localized pavement repairs as needed, adjustment of existing utility covers, installing pavement markings and striping, constructing curb & gutter, driveway approach and all appurtenant work. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, certified or cashier's check, or bidders bond made payable to the City of Duarte for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, such guaranty to be forfeited should the bidder to whom the contract is awarded fail to enter into the contract.
