Site work for a water / sewer project in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes, but is not limited to, replacing approximately 950 feet of iron water main pipe with a larger diameter HDPE pipe in the Richardson Court Area. HDPE is an EPA and DNR-approved water main pipe material that will not corrode, which should reduce future maintenance costs. Questions regarding the scope of work should be directed to the Design Professional. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award. The Board of Regents, State of Iowa, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to accept that bid which is deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
