Renovation of an educational facility in Ames, Iowa. Working plans call for the renovation of a post-secondary education facility.
No Bids received by owner This project includes, but is not limited to, the repair of walls (exterior and interior) and ceiling surfaces of three cooler rooms at the Meats Laboratory. Removal of damaged, wet material will expose interior wall conditions and help to locate areas of air leakage. Repairs will be made to prevent moisture build-up. New lighting, insulated walls, and insulated ceiling panels will be installed as base bid. As an alternate, the project includes demolition and removal of the concrete cooler room floors and installation of new concrete floors, with insulation beneath.
