The proposed work will consist of the milling and asphalt paving of approximately 450 feet of two lane roadway on Suzanne Drive and the removal of existing concrete pavement and curbs and the asphalt paving of approximately 1,030 feet of two lane roadway on Suzanne Drive and Waterhouse Drive. Asphalt paving must be completed in a single pass without a centerline longitudinal joint or seam when feasible. Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the Owner as having obtained the contract documents. A Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. A bid submitted without a Bid Bond will be rejected. Bidders are advised that Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates are applicable to this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract. at the office ofthe Harborcreek Township Supervisors. Copies ofthe contract documents
may be obtained by submitting a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 to Harborcreek
Township for each set of contract documents so obtained or by calling (814) 899-3171. This project consists of the construction of the Harborcreek Township 2024 Paving Project No. 1
including the incidental milling of existing bituminous pavement, the removal of existing concrete
pavement and concrete curbs and the installation of bituminous base, leveling and wearing courses,
including bituminous tack coat and other restoration items in accordance with these specifications.
