Renovation of a residential development in Riverbank, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Housing Authority of the City of Riverbank (Authority) is seeking bids from General Building Contractors (Contractor) to do exterior painting of various units located within the City of Riverbank. The Contractor shall obtain all required approvals and permitting through the local governing agency, fees shall be paid by the Authority. All local, state codes and regulations shall be followed by the Contractor. SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supplies necessary to prime, paint, repair/ stucco patch, repair/ replace dry-rot on facia, siding, trim and install the exterior of the units and additional work identified within the Scope of Work. The Authority is not responsible for actual dimension. If the contractor's bid is over $10,000, a certified check, or bank draft (payable to the Housing Authority of the City of Riverbank), U.S. Government bonds at par value or a bid bond secured by a surety company (authorized to do business in California) equal to five percent (5%) of the bid will be submitted with the bid. Additionally, a non-collusive affidavit will be submitted with the contractor's bid. If the contractor's bid is over $10,000, the successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory performance and payment bond for one hundred percent of the contract price or, as may be required by law, separate performance and payment bonds, each for fifty percent or more of the contract price, or a twenty percent cash escrow, or a twenty five percent irrevocable letter of credit. Licensing: General Contractor or C12 license will be accepted for this IFB must hold a valid California Contractors License with all appropriate bonding and insurance required by the State of California and have the ability to obtain all required permitting either through local, state and federal agencies and being in good standing with all governing agencies. The Contractor shall provide to the Authority copies of any required current city, state and/or federal licenses. Failure to maintain these licenses in a current status during the term(s) of this contract shall constitute a material breach thereof. Anticipated Start Date: April/May 2024 (Approximate Date) The exact starting and ending dates for this project have yet to be defined. The Authority estimates that this project will start April/May 2024 and will end sixty (45) working days from the Contract date. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and supplies necessary to prime, paint, repair/ stucco patch, repair/ replace dry-rot on facia, siding, trim and install the exterior of the units and additional work identified within the Scope of Work. The Authority is not responsible for actual dimension. 1.1 EXTERIOR PAINTINGPROJECT: 1. Thoroughly pressure wash the exterior of building and repair any dry rot that may be found. Any dry rot repair will be treated as a change order. 2. Primer (as needed) and Paint exterior of building including any security screens. Color of exterior will consist of 3 colors (trim, body, doors). 3. Repair dry rot as needed before painting. This is all visible dry rot and must be part of your bid. 4. Rain gutters to be 5-1/2" galvanized with matching downspouts. Gutters is to be primed and painted by the Contractor. Concrete splashguards to be installed at all downspout locations. Galvanized (or equivalent product to be approved by Authority staff) metal leaf guards to be installed to match existing galvanized leaf guards.
