Summary: The purpose of this RFP is to invite Proposals from qualified, experienced manufacturers who specialize in signage for the technical design, supply, and delivery of the new pedestrian wayfinding system for the +15 Skywalk network in downtown Calgary, totalling approximately 1200 units. The Project will require a protoype from the proponent. The supplier will be responsible for technical design, supply and delivery of the new wayfinding system. This procurement process is not intended to create, and, will not create, a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. The City intends to enter into to one (1) Agreement for the provision of the Deliverables. The Agreement will be for a Term of (1) year(s) or until the Deliverables outlined in Appendix F have been accepted by The City.
