Henderson Water Utility intends to establish a term contract with a contractor who has the ability, labor, materials, and equipment to provide mowing services, weed control, and related lawn care services in strict conformance with the terms, conditions and procedures set forth herein. o Pumpstations and Tank Areas: various locations o Litter removal, mowing, trimming, edging, sweeping, pruning, vegetation control, bush hogging o Special attention shall be given to removing weeds and grass around control panels and pathways leading to control panels o Both sides of the fencing around the water tanks must be weed-elated and kept free of weeds, vines, and trees. In some cases, vegetation from neighboring properties may encroach onto the tank fence area. Vines and other growth shall not be allowed to grow onto/into HWU fence. Award date: 18 March 2024 Contract Effective Date: 20 March 2024 Contract Expires (unless renewed) 19 March 2025 Question Deadline 03/13/2024 at 12:00 PM CT Questions should be directed to the Chief Financial Officer, Todd Bowley, at 270-826-2421. The Water and Sewer Commission reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part and to waive informalities and/or technicalities in the bids. Conflicts of interest, gratuities and kickbacks as defined and provided for in K.R.S. 45A.455 are absolutely prohibited.
