Description of the Work: the Project Consists of Approximately 18,730 Sy Cold Mill (2-inch), 21,000 Sy Paving (2-inch and 3-inch), 2,300 Sy Street Reconstruction, and 12 Patch Paving Areas (3- Inch and 4-inch). Project Locations Are Throughout the City of Deer Lodge. QUESTIONS may be submitted in writing to Kurt Thomson, kthomson@seaeng.com, prior to March 29, 2024. Acknowledgment of Bidders Satisfaction as to the General, Local, and Site Conditions That May Affect Cost, Progress, and Performance of the Work is a Condition of Bidding on the Work. Each Bid or Proposal Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond Payable to the City of Deer Lodge, Mt, in an Amount Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Amount of the Bid. Successful Bidders Shall Furnish an Approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, Each in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. Insurance as Required Shall Be Provided by the Successful Bidder(S) and a Certificate(S) of That Insurance Shall Be Provided. The Contract Provides for Sixty (60) Calendar Days for Completion of the Work. The Work Shall Be Substantially Complete Prior to October 31, 2024. The Contractor Will Be Assessed Liquidated Damages in the Amount of $1500 Per Calendar Day for Time Required Beyond That Provided. No Bid May Be Withdrawn Within a Period of Sixty (60) Days After the Scheduled Time Owner Reserves the Right to Cancel or Terminate This Bid, Reject Any One or All Proposals Received in Response to This Bid, to Waive Informalities, and Not Award or if Awarded, Terminate Any Contract on the Grounds of a Determination by Owner That Adequate Budgeted Funds to Expend on a Resulting Contract Were Not Available to Owner.
