The work to be performed consists of furnishing and installing the equipment, facilities, services and appurtenances thereto as included in the Contract Documents. The Work generally includes, but is not limited to, the following: Installation of a new 24" PVC Sewer Main on 21st Street between Wall Avenue and Washington Boulevard, including reinstatement of lateral connections, new manholes, abandonment & pipe filling of existing 21" sewer line, installation of water utility infrastructure at Grant Avenue, replacement of the decorative concrete at the Grant Avenue intersection, removal & replacement of the 8" sewer line on Rushton Street between 21st & 22nd Streets, pavement restoration. A. The location of the work is: 21st Street from Wall Avenue to Washington Boulevard. B. The estimated cost of the work is $ 3900000. - Work of this Construction Contract comprises of Sewer mainline removal & installation, sewer manhole installation & abandonment, culinary water pipe, fitting, valve, & air vac installation, trench pavement restoration. work located at 21st Street from Wall Avenue to Washington Boulevard. The Work will be Substantially Completed 150 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed. + 30 calendar days final completion Bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security will be returned to each unsuccessful Bidder after tabulation and in accordance with Document. The OWNER reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or to waive any informality or technicality in any bid that best serves its convenience and/or is found to be in the best interest of the City.
