Site work for a mixed-use development in Bardstown, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.

This contract will include approximately : 1 ea. 10' diameter wet well, 1 ea. 6' x 6' valve vault, 350 LF (+/-) of 4" PVC force main, 3 ea. new 48" diameter manholes, 110 LF (+/-) of 8" PVC gravity sewer, power and electrical improvements as needed, 1 set of duplex submersible pumps and controls, fencing, grading, erosion control, landscaping/seeding/mulching, and all appurtenances for a complete and fully operable sewer lift station. There will be no Pre-Bid Meeting. Questions from prospective bidders are to be directed to the Engineer at pmeador@kenvirons.com, and will be received until close of business on Friday, March 22, 2024. Issuance of the Notice-To-Proceed (i.e. authorization to start work) may be delayed to accommodate supply chain delays in the delivery of equipment and materials. Liquidated damages will be $800 per calendar day. This project is funded through City of Bardstown local funds. Bidders must comply with Section 3, Section 109, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Anti-Kickback Act and the contract Work Hours Standard Act. Bidders must certify that they do not, and will not, maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on a basis of race, color, creed, or national origin. Any bid that is obviously unbalanced may be rejected. The City of Bardstown reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities. Small, minority and women's businesses and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to bid this project.
