Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Statesboro, Georgia. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

No definite date for the rebid.** The project includes the installation of 85 LF of 54" diameter culvert, 5 ADA compliant sidewalks and handicap ramps, curb and gutter, full depth roadway replacement over culvert, and stormwater infrastructure. The WORK will include but is not limited to the following: clearing, excavating, setting grade, concrete forming, installing rebar, concrete pouring, compaction testing for backfill for the culvert, utility relocation, paving, traffic striping, and traffic and erosion control. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by an acceptable surety company licensed to do business in the States of Georgia and listed in the Department of the Treasury, Circular 570, latest edition. All work to be performed under this project must be substantially complete within 120 consecutive calendar days, and punch list items for final acceptance will be allotted 30 days, for a total of 150 consecutive calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The City of Statesboro reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including without limitation, the right to reject any and all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional bids and to reject the bid of any bidder whom the Owner believes would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that bidder whether because the bid not responsive, the bidder is unqualified, or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner. This project will consist of constructing a 5' ADA sidewalk. This project will also replace a culvert that is currently undersized and causing erosion issues.
