Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Newport News, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor to provide all Work and Materials for completion of two projects namely: the Traffic Signal and Turn Lane Installation at Rock Landing Drive and Omni Boulevard (UPC 111065) and the Traffic signal Installation at Jefferson Avenue at Pavilion Place (UPC 111035). The Rock Landing Drive and Omni Boulevard project shall entail the construction of new mast arm traffic signals and pedestrian enhancements at the intersection of Rock Landing Drive and Omni Boulevard. The Jefferson Avenue at Pavilion Place project shall entail the construction of a new mast arm traffic signal and pedestrian signals at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Pavilion Place. These are Federal Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) supported projects, administered through the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), and will be governed by VDOT technical specifications, standards, manuals, and guides.
