Renovation of a municipal facility in Santa Cruz, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,900-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility.
The Soquel Creek Water District (District) invites experienced and qualified firms (also referred to as "Contractors") to provide Construction Management and General Contracting services using a procurement method called Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to work with the architect team selected by a separate RFP to provide constructability, budget and schedule services during design and preparing a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for construction of improvements at the former Pro-Vision Glass shop. The former Pro-Vison Glass shop is the portion of the PWS facility to house the operations offices/maintenance area and educational center. The District intends to evaluate the submittals received and enter into a Construction Manager at Risk with Guaranteed Maximum Price Agreement (Contract) with the selected qualified Contractors. District staff are working with district counsel to prepare necessary documents and a Request for Qualifications and Proposals (RFQ/P) inviting qualified firms to submit a proposal.
