The project consists, in general, of providing traffic control system and construction area signs; water pollution control work; clearing and grubbing; furnishing and applying water; saw cutting and removing existing concrete/asphalt concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk; constructing new concrete curb, gutter, driveways, driveway and walkway conforms, pervious concrete sidewalks where none exist, pedestrian ramps; installing tree wells; planting street trees, installing HMA conforms at new lip of gutters; cold plane existing asphalt concrete pavement; replacing failed sections of AC surfacing & base with full depth HMA; installing geosynthetic pavement interlayer; installing 2-inch HMA overlay; adjusting to finish grade manholes, EBMUD water meter and valve boxes, PG&E box, traffic signal boxes, and sewer cleanouts; installing detector loops; installing thermoplastic traffic stripe and pavement markings; and cleaning of the site at the end of the job.
