Rehabilitation of specific areas along the Dockwall at the PortsToronto Marine Terminal Property as identified in the Port Dockwall Rehabilitation Study completed by Stantec Limited in January 2024. The scope will be focused on localized defects that have the recommended renewal timeline of less than 5 years. Ports Toronto owns approximately 65 acres of property (Marine Terminals Property) on the eastern edge of the Inner Harbour of Toronto which are dedicated to port operations, marine terminals, cargo handling, and a variety of other uses. The northern and western extents of this property border the Ship Channel and Inner Harbour, respectively. These borders are formalized with a series of dockwalls which were constructed beginning in the 1930's and includes berths 511 through 515, and 521 through 523. TIMELINE: A Request For Proposals has been issued by PortsToronto. The purpose of this project is to have a professional engineering consultant with the necessary qualifications, capability, and experience to provide design and construction administration services for the rehabilitation of specific areas along the Dockwall as identified in the Port Dockwall Rehabilitation Study completed by Stantec Limited in January 2024. The scope will be focused on localized defects that have the recommended renewal timeline of less than 5 years.
