Document Notes : Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office. Contract Documents are available in the following format: o Electronic (pdf) files for a non-refundable payment of $25 (check only payable to The Village of Hammondsport. o Printed copies upon payment of a deposit of $50 per set (check only payable to The Village of Hammondsport. o Any Bidder requiring the plans be sent via mail, shall be responsible to provide a separate check of $25 to cover the non-refundable cost of postage and handling (payable to HUNT EAS). Any bidder, submitting a sealed bid, upon returning the printed set of drawings and specifications to DATAFLOW within 30 days and in good condition, will be refunded the full deposit. Any Non Bidder will not be refunded such deposit. Copies of the Contract Documents may be examined at no expense at the at The Village of Hammondsport at 18 Water St, , Hammondsport, NY 14840 and at Hunt Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors & Landscape. General Bidding Information As bid security, each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond made payable to The Village of Hammondsport, in accordance with the amounts and terms described in the Instructions to Bidders The Owner requires that all bids shall comply with the bidding requirements specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner may, at their discretion, waive informalities in bids, but is not obligated to do so, not does this represent that the Owner will do so. The Owner also reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Under no circumstances will the Owner waive any informality which, by such wavier, would give one Bidder a substantial advantage or benefit not enjoyed by all other Bidders. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening, unless a mistake due to error is claimed by the Bidder in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Village of Hammondsport reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in or to accept or reject any or all bids. All questions prior to the bid opening must be received by the close of business on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 4pm local time.
