Site work, paving, asbestos abatement and renovation of a mixed-use development in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for asbestos abatement for a clubhouse / community center.
The project will construct, furnish, and equip improvements to the existing 33,197 Sq Ft Alejandro Ruiz Senior Center, Phase III, located at 120 Kircher Street in Carlsbad, NM, in Eddy County : Improvements consist of: Approximately; 30 cy concrete interior slab; 15 cy exterior slab with reinforcing ramp and stairs (ADA compliant); Two 4-stall (ADA compliant) restrooms and one unisex restroom (ADA compliant) with fixtures; 15 doors w/frames/hardware; 48 metal windows and window shades; 6 skylights; 450 sf storefront glass; Thermal and moisture protection/insulation; painting; carpet; tiling; ceilings; wall partitions; plumbing; electrical; lighting; cabinetry and counters; fire extinguishers; fire suppression system and installation work; cabling and data wiring; security alarm & camera system and installation; HV AC modifications; shade structure canopy installation; entry vestibule; Sitework; parking lot asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter; striping; parking bumper; removal and disposal; asbestos abatement; signage ; relocation of utilities; utility services; landscaping and other related improvements. (ADA compliance will be followed as required) This Project is funded in whole or in part by a grant from the state of New Mexico Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program and is subject to requirements of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development and the funding agency. Bid security in the form of a surety bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the state of New Mexico in the amount of 5% of the total bid, or the equivalent in cash by means of a cashier's check or in a form satisfactory to the Owner, must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A 100% performance bond and a 100% payment and materials bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in this state and said surety to be approved in federal circular 570 as published by the United States treasury department shall be required from the successful Bidder. A completed Subcontractor Listing Form must The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical irregularities, and to award the contract to the Bidder whose bid it deems to be in the best interest of the Owner. Question Deadline 11/07/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted to the Architect/ Engineer in writing. Replies will be issued by addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Architect/ Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 7 calendar days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding.
