The City of Carlsbad will plan, design, construct, furnish and equip improvements to the Alejandro Ruiz Senior Center, Phase III, located at 120 Kircher Street in Carlsbad, NM in Eddy County (Longitude -104.223; Latitude 32.3884). Improvements consist of approximately; 30 cy concrete interior slab; 15 cy exterior slab with reinforcing ramp and stairs; Two (4) stall restrooms and unisex restroom with fixtures; 15 doors w/frames/hardware; 48 metal windows and window shades; 6 skylights; 450 sf storefront glass; Thermal and moisture protection/insulation; painting; carpet; tiling; ceilings; wall partitions; plumbing; electrical; lighting; cabinetry and counters; fire extinguishers; fire suppression system and installation work; cabling and data wiring; security alarm & camera system and installation; HVAC modifications; shade structure canopy installation; entry vestibule; Sitework; parking lot asphalt paving, concrete curb and gutter; striping; parking bumper; removal and disposal; asbestos abatement; signage ; relocation of utilities; utility services; landscaping and other related improvements. INTERPRETATIONS A. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Request for Proposals shall be submitted to the Procurement Manager of the Contracting Agency in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by the Contracting Agency as having received the Request for Proposals. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of proposals will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
