Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Holly Ridge, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Project: Summerhouse WWTP Interim Improvements Installation of Owner provided UV equipment, fine screens, and MBR tanks, pumps, blowers, and related appurtenances. Provision and installation of Phase 1 items to include, but not limited to, dry pit EQ pumps, flow meters, UV canopy and monorail, slide gates, double-disc sludge pump, backflow preventer, water meter, valves, piping, related appurtenances, security cameras, sidewalks, concrete pads, asphalt pavement, grading, excavation, dewatering, electrical equipment and power lines, control and communications wires, air conditioning units, modifications to existing buildings, and exterior painting of the existing OPS/Admin building. Each Bid must be accompanied by cash or a certified check, drawn on a bank or trust company authorized to do business in North Carolina, payable to the Onslow Water and Sewer Authority in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid, as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into and that a satisfactory performance bond will be executed. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award a contract or contracts which, in the opinion of the Onslow Water and Sewer Authority, appear to be in its best interest. The right is reserved to hold any or all Bids for sixty (60) days from the opening thereof. By mutual agreement, the Authority reserves the right to extend this period and hold any or all Bids for an additional 30 days.
