Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in South Dennis, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The prospective bidder shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the reconstruction of approximately 2,150 feet of Sea Street from Coles Pond Road to the beach parking lot, and the reconstruction of the beach parking lot. The general scope of work for road and parking lot reconstruction shall include the excavation and removal of the existing asphalt pavement, granular base and subgrade(as required), the installation and compaction of a dense graded crushed stone base & reclaimed pavement sub-base(as required), placement and compaction of a hot mix asphalt binder course and a hot mix asphalt top course, the installation of new drainage structures, granite curb, & precast retaining walls, the installation of guardrail, the restoration of road & parking lot edges, and the paving of driveway aprons to match the roadway and parking lot finish grade, complete in place, as described in the specifications. All repair work and traffic management shall be performed in accordance with the design plans and specifications. Bids received after the time and date established herein for the opening of bids, shall not be accepted or considered, regardless of the cause for the delay in the receipt of such bids. Bidders shall be pre-qualified for this project through the Pre-Qualification Office of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), 10 Park Plaza, Boston, Massachusetts. All bids for this project are subject to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M. Minimum Wage Rates, as established by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries, shall be in effect for this project. The Town of Dennis reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bidding, and to make the award as may be determined to be in the best interest of the Town.
