Skyline Parkway (North Leg) Expected Award Date:04/30/2024 Project Start Date:06/03/2024 Construction Start Date:06/03/2024 Construction End Date:06/28/2024 Description of Work This work consists of the satisfactory storage, protection, and installation of the removed metal railing as indicated in the Plans. Perform all work in accordance with the applicable provisions of 2433, "Structure Renovation," 2471, "Structural Metals," and 2475, "Metal Railing," the requirements of the plans, as directed by the Engineer, and the following: B Construction Requirements Protect the Metal Railing from damages, including damages to its protective coating at all times. Any damage to the protective coating shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the Engineer, at no cost to the County. Metal railing shall be installed in alignment with matching in place components. C Method of Measurement Measurement will be by the lineal foot, measured along top of metal railing from end to end of metal railing segment which is installed. No separate measurement will be made for any individual components or hardware including but not limited to bolts, washers, threaded rod anchorages etc. D Basis of Payment Payment will be made as Item 2540.603, "INSTALL METAL RAILIING", at the Contract price per lineal foot and shall be compensation in full for all costs of storing, protecting, and installing the Metal Railing, complete inplace.
