DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Project Title: Reception Barracks Complex Phase II at Fort Jackson, South Carolina The procurement described herein is for a Military Construction (MILCON) contract being procured as an unrestricted requirement utilizing Best Value Trade-Off negotiated acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 15.101-1. This project includes construction of a reception processing center, a battalion headquarters and company operations facility (COF), trainee barracks, medical clinic, overhead protection/canopy, storage building, swing space, optical fabrication laboratory and building information systems. Work will also include site development, utilities and connections, perimeter security devices, lighting, paving, parking, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, landscaping, fencing, and signage. NOTE: In accordance with Executive Order 14063, a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) will be required for the subject requirement. In accordance with FAR clause 52.222.34, all Offerors will be required to submit a PLA with their proposal.
