Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 12,222-square-foot library; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Multnomah County is renovating the existing 17,700 square-foot building on the subject site into a new Northwest Portland Branch Library (12,222 square feet) with the rest of the building (5,378 square feet) held for the County's future use. No floor area is proposed to be added. Replacement of existing windows and doors in existing openings are proposed on the south facade, with a new electrical room access. The northern portion of the site will be improved as the library's main entrance. Alterations to this area will include: - Removal of a cargo container from the building's facade; - Replacement of existing roll-up doors with new storefront; - New main entry plaza with stairs, ramp, canopy, terrace, etc.; - New accessory structure for trash and recycling; - Other site improvements including landscaping, bicycle parking, fencing, etc. As of October 17, 2025, construction is underway.
