Cane River Middle School Re-roof Description: 1) Remove the existing roof(s) as needed and mechanically attach one layer of .5” extruded polystyrene type insulation to meet North Carolina roofing code. 2) Provide and install a GAF mechanically attached system of .060 white reinforced TPO membrane. 3) New flashing shall be installed along all parapet walls, curbs and roof Penetrations per manufacturer's specifications. 4) Provide and install all new pressure treated wood nailers. 5) along all open perimeters, provide and install a new eave drip fabricated from tpo laminated sheet metal. 6) Along all open perimeters, provide and install new 6” pre-finished seamless aluminum k-style guttering with 3” x 4” color matching downspouts. 7) Upon completion, contractor shall provide a 2 yr. Watertight guarantee. 8) Upon completion, contractor shall provide a 20 yr. Manufacturers material and labor warranty is also included under this contract. 9) Any deteriorated decking, wood nailers, etc. Discovered shall be replaced on a time plus material basis and added to this quoted price. 10) Dispose of all demolition materials in the proper manner. Note: due to the existing deck type, the proper fastener must be used for insulation and membrane attachment.
