The City of Titusville, on behalf of the Public Works Department, is considering sealed quotes from qualified licensed contractors to provide maintenance and repair services for at least 34 exterior overhead and roll up doors (motorized and manual) and 9 exterior security gates (as displayed in Attachment 1 - Location List). The list is not to be treated as all-inclusive and City staff may add additional doors/gates upon written request. Services will include but are not limited to preventative maintenance, repair services, replacement of doors/gates, and installation of new doors/gates. The awarded Contractor(s) shall provide preventative maintenance and inspection services for the doors/gates in all requested areas and shall be responsible for furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, transportation, and supervision necessary. There will be no pre-quote meeting for this solicitation. The City reserves the right to conduct an inspection of the bidder's facility and equipment prior to the award of the bid. The City will notify you in writing of our intent to conduct an inspection or survey of your facility. The City also reserves the right to inspect the equipment, parts, components, goods or supplies specified in this quote. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and technicalities, and/or to request resubmission. The term of the resulting contract shall be for one (1) year from the effective date hereof, renewable for up to four (4) additional years in twelve (12) month increments upon mutual written consent of both parties and rate negotiation prior to expiration of term.
