AUXILIARY BOILER PRE-ENGINEERED METAL BUILDING FOR WHELAN ENERGY CENTER, UNIT 2 PUBLIC POWER GENERATION AGENCY HASTINGS, NEBRASKA Formal Contract No. PPGA 2024-03 Auxiliary Boiler Pre-Engineered Metal Building at Whelan Energy Center, Unit 2, Public Power Generation Agency, Hastings, Nebraska Proposals received after the above time and date will be returned unopened to the party submitting the proposal. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check on a solvent U.S. commercial bank, or a bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. Such check or bid bond shall be contained in a separate envelope attached to bidder's proposal. All proposal and bid bonds shall have original signatures. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the sum of the full amount of the Contract within ten (10) days of the date of award. No additional time will be allowed the Contractor for providing the Performance Bond. Proposals will be considered only from those bidders who are qualified by previous experience in performing work of this type, scope and complexity specified. Bidders without previous successful work history with PPGA will be required to pre-qualify by submitting information concerning their organization, experience, and financial status as requested in the bidding instructions. The PPGA reserves the right to accept the bid which best suits its needs whether the price is the lowest or not, to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities. No proposal may be altered, withdrawn or resubmitted within 60 days after the date set for the opening of proposals. Design and furnish a complete 60' x 50' Packaged Metal Building complete with all plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, insulation, and other appurtenances per the technical specifications in Section 4. Installation of the PEMB will follow the installation of the Auxiliary Boiler onto the foundation. PEMB will be installed with Auxiliary Boiler in place. The work done under this contract to be coordinated with PPGA and other Contractors. Dates listed are approximate and subject to change. The bidder shall provide a schedule for construction, including the lead time for manufacturing the building. The Contractor shall provide labeling of hazardous materials and training of employees in the safe usage of such materials as required under any applicable federal, state, or local law, regulation, statute, or ordinance. For technical questions regarding the model structure and scope, the point of contact shall be the vendor's appointed technician or delegate.
