2024 Restroom Renovations at Goodings Grove School Anticipated Award of Contract date: April 23, 2024 Anticipated Start of Construction: June 3, 2024 Anticipated Substantial Completion date: August 5, 2024 Question Deadline 04/04/2024 Submit all questions regarding the Bidding Documents to the Architect. Replies will be issued to all bidders of record in the form of an Addendum. Questions received less than five days before the bid opening date cannot be answered. Lump sum bid proposals will be received for this project at the scheduled time of receipt bids and will be publicly opened at that time. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cash in an amount equal to 10 percent of the base bid amount shall be submitted with the bid. Should a bid bond be submitted, the bid bond shall be payable to the Board of Education, Homer Community Consolidated School District 33c. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, or waive any irregularities or informalities, and to make the award in the best interest of the District. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works. Bidder must comply with the Illinois Statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity Laws. All Bidders must sign a statement of compliance indicating that they have participated in, or are actively participating in, apprenticeship and training programs approved by and registered with the United States Department of Labor's Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training.
