Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Clear Lake, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.

The work generally consists of removal of concrete and asphalt pavement, storm intake replacement, and construction of asphalt pavement section. Approximate project quantities include: 5,500 SY Pavement Removal 6,233 SY Subgrade Preparation and Modified Subbase 1,715 Tons Asphalt Pavement 4 EA Storm Intake Removal and Replacement Erosion Control and Site Restoration After issuance of Notice to Proceed, contractor may commence work on the project. The Mason City Municipal Airport has established a construction completion date of August 30, 2024. All project work shall be completed within the stated timeframe. This project is subject to liquidated damages as prescribed within the project manual. Bid security in the amount of Five percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder shall be required to provide performance and payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price. Engineer's estimate of probable construction cost is between $525,000 and $575,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The right is reserved, as the Airport Commission may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received.
