Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Yuba City, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a 1,300-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; for the demolition of a fire / police facility; for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

General Work Description: A 1300 SF Dorm Room addition to the existing fire station to include: construction of three (3) dorm rooms, a laundry room, two (2) bathrooms and a storage room, with all related site work, utilities and finishes. Project will require coordination with the City's Communication, Fire Sprinkler, Fire Alerting and Fire Alarm subcontractors as shown on the Plans and as detailed in these Specifications. The engineer's estimate of the probable construction cost of the base bid work is $800,000. For a more detailed description of the project scope, refer to the project plans. Contract time for completion of the Project is 180 (one hundred eighty) calendar days. Bids are required for the entire work described herein and shall remain valid for 90 (ninety) calendar days after bid opening. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor who is not licensed under Chapter 9, Division 3, California Business and Professions Code. The Contractor shall possess a Class B license, or as required by the California Consumer Affairs, Contractors State License Board. This contract is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code Section 12990.
