Project is out to Rebid Modernization of an elevator replacing the car, adding a stop, and associated components needed to achieve this. The existing elevator has been provided by the Otis Elevator Company. Maintaining the existing capacity and speed ofthe elevator. o Add an intermediate elevator landing that opens to the rear ofthe existing elevator. Masonry modifications to the existing shaft shall be by others, installation of elevator door, frame, call button, and associated elevator hardware will be by the elevator contractor. o Provide new, automatic self-leveling. o Provide new microprocessor-based controller and all associated hardware. o Provide new solid-state starter. Match existing power requirements and configuration. o Retain existing pump motor and valves, inspect, and adjust as required for proper operation. o Existing hoistway entrance, track, hangers, and hoistway doors will be replaced with new, provide new rear entrance and doors at intermediate landing. Provide new door protection devices and interlocks. o Retain existing hoistway operating devices and provide new car guides. o Provide new #4 brushed stainless steel elevator car interior with VCT flooring, and new operating panel with LED illuminated landing buttons, emergency call, and door open and close buttons. o Provide emergency car lighting, in-car direction lanterns, and audible announcements. o Provide new hall buttons and hall lanterns at each landing. o The contractor must confirm that sufficient electrical power is provided for all new and existing elevator systems and provide additional circuits as necessary. o Provide a 1-year warranty for materials and labor from the date of substantial completion and provide terms for an optional 3-year maintenance contract effective after the warranty period. o The elevator contractor will provide a fully operational 3 landing elevator and associated systems that complies with all applicable codes and regulations. Delivery and installation to take place during the time frame of June 17, 2024-August 26, 2024.
