UPDATE :http://www.nlauderdale.org/departments/finance/annual_budgets.php The City has constructed a state of the art Fire Training Tower which was complete in FY2023. In FY 2024 a propane generator and burn room were included in the budget to facilitate a clean fire simulation. This phase of the project includes the capital needs to expand and remodel the existing classroom facility, which will only occur if a new building is not constructed. Project is in City of North Lauderdale capital budget fy 2025 CIP 224 _________________________________________________________________________________ The City has constructed a state of the art Fire Training Tower which was complete in FY2023. This project includes the capital needs to expand and remodel the existing classroom facility (FY2025-2026) and add the propane generator and burn room (FY2024) to facilitate a clean fire simulation. The project is include in the city's 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
