Site work for a municipal facility in Anchorage, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
ARRC is seeking bids to remove approximately 25 tons of trash from a dump site located on the east side of the ARRC ROW (MP 202.4) between MP 87 and 88 of the Parks Highway. Access is via Hidden Hills road, travelling south along the eastern edge of the ARRC ROW, as shown on the attached Vicinity Map. The material to be removed is comprised of household items including filled plastic trash bags, appliances, vehicle parts, jugs, drums, carpeting, small tools, building materials, and other miscellaneous trash. There is the potential of encountering hazardous materials to include flammable liquid (55g DM and lab pack), solvent (non-chlorinated and chlorinated), used oil (on-spec and off-spec), used antifreeze, grease and lubricants, paint (oilbased and latex), refrigerator/freezer, batteries (lead-acid, NiCad, and Alkaline), etc.. The waste is to be removed from the site and disposed of properly. ARRC reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, negotiate changes in bids, accept any bids or any part thereof, waive minor informalities or defects in any bids, and not to award the proposed contract if it is in the best interest of the ARRC.
