Waste Removal Services for VDACS Peanut Services Office in Suffolk It is important to carefully read this entire solicitation document for a clear understanding of the requirements. A. Purpose: The VA Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS), an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, desires to establish a contract with one qualified vendor for the purpose of removing, hauling and legally disposing of refuse from one (1) agency location. (Reference section D). B. Contract period: One (1) year beginning April 8, 2024 - April 7, 2025, with four (4) optional one-year renewal periods. D. Location: VDACS Peanut Services Office, 308 Culloden Street, Suffolk, VA 23434; 4 cu yard container The purchasing agency reserves the right to cancel and terminate any resulting contract, in part or in whole, without penalty, upon 60 days written notice to the contractor. In the event the initial contract period is for more than 12 months, the resulting contract may be terminated by either party, without penalty, after the initial 12 months of the contract period upon 60 days written notice to the other party. Any contract cancellation notice shall not relieve the contractor of the obligation to deliver and/or perform on all outstanding orders issued prior to the effective date of cancellation.
