Reference Number 0000266189 Question Deadline 04/09/2024 at 4:00 PM CT Environment and Climate Change will provide 10 front mount bin containers for recycling materials such as glass, paper, aluminum, tin, cardboard and plastic at St Malo Provincial Park. Loading and hauling of the recycling materials to a Manitoba approved recycling depot is required. The volume of the recycling materials to be hauled is approximately 30-40 cubic-yards, ten (10) times per year, as required and requested, between April through November. Purpose and Scope The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to solicit bids from qualified Bidders to provide the services as described in Appendix "A" attached and for Manitoba to enter into an Agreement with the Service Provider whose bid is judged to best serve the interests of Manitoba when evaluated in accordance with the stated evaluation criteria. Period of Agreement The Agreement is anticipated to commence on May 1, 2024 and shall continue until April 30, 2025. The agreement shall be a fixed period of one year, with the possibility of two (2) further one-year extensions. Hauling to occur as and when requested. Right of Rejection The submission of a Bid, the receipt of a Bid by Manitoba and the opening of a Bid, or any one of those, does not constitute acceptance, in any way whatsoever, of a Bid. A Bid is not and shall not be deemed in any way to be a unilateral contract. It is an offer by the Bidder to Manitoba to carry out the provisions set out in this RFQ. A Bid may be accepted or rejected by Manitoba in Manitoba's entire discretion. A Bid, or any part of a Bid, is not accepted unless Manitoba accepts it in writing and the written acceptance has been delivered to the selected Bidder. Manitoba, in its entire discretion, may reject or accept all or any part of a Bid or any of the Bids submitted in response to this RFQ. Manitoba is under no obligation whatsoever to accept the Bid with the lowest cost or any Bid.
