The work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition (including roof related asbestos abatement) and re-roofing (roof-over and tear off roof systems) of existing buildings. Proposals must be submitted on the form as shown in the specifications and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier's Check in an amount equal to 5% of the Bid and as required by the Contract Documents of the. Bid and as required by the Contract Documents. Performance and Payment Bond, in the full amount of the contract, will be required for contract security. The Contract or Contracts will be awarded to the lowest acceptable bidder, except that the Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and the Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
