Site work and renovation of a civil project in Ethel, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Separate sealed bids will be received for the Town of Ethel, Sewer System Rehabilitation, CDBG Project Nos. 1200-23-180-PF-01 and 1136-23-180-PF-02, Attala County, Mississippi, Project No. 48-23. The principal items of work under this contract are: replacement of valves in outlet structure, rehabilitation of a pump station, and sewer system rehabilitation with cleaning, video inspection, point repairs, cured-in-place pipe, manhole rehabilitation, and miscellaneous work. Bidders must comply with Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, the Davis-Bacon Act, the Anti-Kickback Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, and Executive Order No. 11246. All prime or subcontractors submitting bids in excess of $50,000 must comply with Mississippi Code Section 31-3-21 and have a Certificate of Responsibility license, which must be indicated on the sealed bid envelope. The contractor must complete the Certification of Nonsegregated Facilities. The project is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements, mandating domestic production of all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used in this project, absent an approved waiver. Minority and women's business enterprises are solicited to bid and are encouraged to inquire about subcontracting opportunities. The owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any and all bids. Security deposit with the bid is required as provided in the Notice and Instructions to Bidders.
