Sealed bids are invited for the exterior renovation to Oxford Intermediate School. Bids will be received from contractors at the Oxford School District Central Office. Single stipulated sum bids are required for all work specified in the contract documents. Documents such as instructions to bidders, forms, drawings, and specifications are available for examination at specified locations and must be purchased (non-refundable) through the specified website. All proposals must be on file with the Oxford School District before the stated opening time, sealed, and clearly marked on the envelope. Electronic bid submission is also allowed via the designated website but is not required. Each bid must include security as outlined in the instructions. Performance and payment bonds will be required of the successful bidder. Bidders must comply with Mississippi law regarding certificates of responsibility. Resident contractors receive preference over non-residents. The successful bidder must adhere to the owner's non-discrimination policy.
