**As of January 13, 2026, the project was awarded to Groves Electrical Services but the awarded amount is not available.** Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond not less than 5% of total bid. The work to de done consists generally of: Furnishing and in- stallation of 24 new 13 kV regula- tors. Furnishing of concrete foundations, steel structures, high voltage bus work, conduit and cable and associated work, and other related work as shown on specifications and plan documents. All contractors bidding this project must have had prior experience performing work in an energized 161 kV or above rated high voltage electrical substation. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. The project will be awarded based on the best-qualified sub- mittal and is subject to the ap- proval of the Mayor and Board of Alderman. The Board of Alderman reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all informalities.
