Renovation of a day care center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a day care center.

The State of Minnesota is requesting proposal(s) for Mechanical and Electrical Engineering design and construction administration services to replace and integrate the fire alarm system including sprinklers alarms and smoke alarms to the current Building 19 central alarming station and a secondary location at MVH-Minneapolis skilled nursing long-term care, adult day care, and domiciliary campus facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The term of this contract is anticipated to run from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2026, with the option to extend an additional 3 years in increments determined by the State. This request for proposal does not obligate the state to award a contract or complete the project, and the state has the right to cancel the solicitation if it is considered to be in its best interest. Question Deadline 04/04/2024 at 12:00 PM CT RECS will provide answers by: Monday, April 8, 2024 by 3:00 p.m. CT. Prospective responders who have any questions regarding this request for proposal should email the questions no later than the date identified on page 1 of this RFP to: Samantha Hicks, Contracts Specialist Real Estate and Construction Services samantha.hicks@state.mn.us. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
