Renovation of a mixed-use development in Ithaca, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Renovations to upgrade the Main Entry and Vestibule for Mahoney Administration Building in areas of building indicated on the drawings, new doors, glazing, roof system, lighting, power, access system modifications, snow melt system, boiler, piping, insulation, ductwork modifications, wiring, hardware revisions at doors, as necessary, minor demolition, patch existing surfaces to match, and coordination with RESD staff for construction. This is Not a Prevailing Wage Project. Each proposal must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the basic proposal. Guarantee shall be in the form of a money order, certified check or bid bond executed by and approved Surety Company, made payable to GI-RESD. Proposal guarantee shall run for a period of sixty (60) days. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a "performance bond" and a "labor and material payment bond", each bond in the amount of 100% of his contact, as required in the "Instructions to Bidders". Electronic PDF copies of the documents are available, without a deposit, by contacting the architect or consulting engineer's office for directions on obtaining. Contractors wishing to obtain paper copies of the documents may do so by purchasing them for a cost of $25.00 per set. This purchase price will not be refunded. Checks to purchase paper copies of the bidding documents are to be made payable to Engineer Applications EAI, LLC. Sub-contractors and suppliers may receive complete sets of electronic bidding documents by contacting the Architect, Engineer, or the State of Michigan SIGMA web site. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities in bidding, or to accept the lowest responsible proposal that in the opinion of the Owner will serve the best interest of the Owner. The Owner will not be obligated to accept the lowest proposal. The Owner further reserves the right to approve all subcontractors. No proposals may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the receipt of proposals.
