The successful bidder shall furnish all bonds, insurance, labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and necessary appurtenances for the Mackenzie Park Drainage Project. Drainage will be conducted in the areas, the Stem Wall, Playground, and Baseball Field. Install drainage behind CMU block wall, and Baseball Field Drainage per plan and specifications Drainage will be conducted in the areas, the Stem Wall, Playground, and Baseball Field. STEM WALL DRAINAGE o Trench approximately 190 linear feet behind stem wall 2' ft deep by hand. o Clean concrete wall surface. o Install 805 Commercial grade roof cement TRP for yellowjacket to adhere to. o Install Yellow jacketing mesh along stem wall. o Install 805 Commercial grade roof cement TRP coating for Mylar plastic to adhere to. o Install 10.16 mil mylar plastic. o Install 190 feet of 3" perforated SDR 2% grade. o Install sock around pipe. o Install approximately 6 yards of 3/4 crushed gravel for French drain. o Install three (3) 12" plastic drain boxes. o Backfill by hand. o Cut approx. 160' Ft of sod with sod cutter before trenching and reinstall afterwards. o Trench approximately 160 linear feet including under the sidewalk. o Install 160 feet 4" SDR solid 2% grade. o Daylight away from baseball field. PLAYGROUND AREA DRAINAGE o Cut approximately 40' Ft of sod with sod cutter before trenching and reinstall afterwards. o Trench approximately 40 linear feet. o Install 40' of 3" SDR drain pipe 2% grade. o Install one (1) 12" Traffic rated concrete drain box with metal grate. o Backfill by hand. o Core curb under sidewalk and out to parking lot. BASEBALL FIELD DRAINAGE o Cut sod with sod cutter and reinstall afterwards. o Trench approximately 120 linear feet. o Install 120' of 3" SDR drainpipe 2% grade. o Install three (3) 12" concrete box drains. o Backfill by hand. o Install pop-up at end of drain Contractor shall possess a valid C-27 Landscaping contractors license from the California Contractors State License Board at the time their bid is submitted and throughout the duration of the contract. Contractor shall include their Contractors license number, classification, and expiration date on their bid. Questions and answers shall be submitted through Electronically until 12:00 p.m., March 22, 2024. Bidders shall review specifications and report any errors and omissions prior to Q&A deadline. The City will not be bound by or be responsible for any interpretations or conclusions drawn from this RFB. Any questions the City feels are pertinent will be answered to all participating bidders of this RFB via Electronically In accordance with Civil Code 9550, if the bid exceeds $25,000, the Successful Bidder shall furnish within ten (10) consecutive calendar days after written Notice of Award, a Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid. Work shall be permitted from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays only. No work shall be permitted after hours, on weekends, or on holidays. The City also reserves the right to reject the quote or bid of any bidder who has previously failed to perform adequately for the City or any other governmental agency within the prior year. Project shall be completed within 45 consecutive calendar days from commencement of work.
