Please note that the only opportunity for prospective bidders to access or photograph the site or enter the existing school will be at the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bidders are cautioned to review all Instructions and Contract Documents with respect to scheduling requirements and obligations. The project will be bid and constructed as a Single Prime Lump Sum Contract with Add Alternate options to be added at Owner's discretion. Bidders must submit one Bid Bond in an amount equal to 10% of the proposed Contract Price for the work to be performed at 43 Alexander Street, but not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) per N.J.S.A 18A:18A-24. Bid proposals for the above work will be received from bidders registered with the Division of Revenue and Department of Labor, and classified by the Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction ("DPMC"): General Contractors with a DPMC Classification of C006, C008 or C009, or; Electrical Contractors with a DPMC Classification of C047 Other Special Categories may be required and as set forth in the Request for Proposals.
