The City of Pomona Water Resources Department is seeking qualified contractors to bid on the relocation of a split unit AC/heat pump, from one location to another location. License Requirements C-20 Project Type Bid Response Types Line Items General Attachment Type of Award Lump Sum Bid Bond 0.00% Payment Bond 0.00% Performance Bond 0.00% The City's Water Resources Department (WRD) is seeking the services of relocating a 5 ton split system from one building (Central Yard) to another location (Pedley) approximately 7 miles away. Water Resources Department (WRD) only wants the compressor/heat pump unit & air handler relocated. Ducting will need to be installed at the new location. Below are some essential specifications, the mandatory job walk will be the only method to determine and provide accurate bid(s). 1. Recover refrigerant from existing unit. 2. City will assist in powering down existing unit. 3. Contractor to remove compressor/heat pump unit, air handler, drain pan, and thermostat from current location. 4. Contractor will deliver the HVAC equipment to new location. 5. City will provide power to location requested by awarded bidder. 6. Contractor to install compressor/heat pump, drain pan, air handler, and condensation drain lines. 7. Contractor to provide/install new line set. 8. Contractor to provide/install return ducting (w/fresh air intake if applicable). 9. Contractor to provide/install send ducting with approximately 7-9 registers. 10. Install thermostat and test unit for proper operation.
