Patio Project - Centennial Terrace General scope of work: The work of this project includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, appliances, tools, and equipment to construct a new +/-4200 SF concrete patio at Riverview Towers, and a new +/- 500 SF concrete patio at Centennial Terrace. The project also includes the construction of three stick-built shade roofs, drainage structures, light poles, electrical conduits, and other associated work. Proposals in excess of $100,000 must be accompanied by either a Bid Bond issued by a surety company which shall insure the Owner to the extent of five percent (5%) of the Proposal or a certified check to be used by the Owner to insure the Owner in lieu of a bid bond to the extent of five percent (5%) of the Proposal. Proposals less than $100,000 must be accompanied by a certified or bank check in the amount of 5% of the proposal. A performance and payment bond will not be required from the selected contractor for proposals less than $100,000, However the Owner may require another form of security for faithful performance. Sample forms for bid, bid bonds, performance and payment bonds and construction contract documents are included in this package. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the OWNER.
